Lapidia

What's new

What changed in each version.

0.9.10 · October 2026

  • The orb stays on screen after you close the prompt window.

0.9.9 · October 2026

  • Website requests: the prompt now asks for a Next.js project (React, TypeScript, Tailwind) ready to deploy on Vercel, unless you name a different stack.

0.9.8 · October 2026

  • When your draft leaves out something that changes the result, Lapidia asks up to 3 questions, with suggested answers, before generating. The round of questions doesn't count toward your quota.
  • You can turn it off in Settings → General.

0.9.7 · October 2026

  • A cleaner choice window: the draft box grows with your text, the role became a badge at the top and grammar is the fifth card.
  • Website requests with the Frontend role: pick one of four visual directions before generating.
  • Without the Accessibility permission, Lapidia opens normally and only lets you know when it needs to read a field.

0.9.6 · October 2026

  • With more than one display, the orb moves to the screen you're on, and returns to where you left it when you go back to that screen.

0.9.5 · October 2026

  • macOS: the Accessibility permission now survives updates. This version needs it granted one last time: the app tells you and opens System Settings.
  • The orb shows up again for anyone who had hidden it in an older version.

0.9.4 · October 2026

  • Windows (beta): the orb is pinned from launch, just like on the Mac.
  • PT | EN language switch at the top of Settings; on first launch, Portuguese in Brazil and English everywhere else.
  • On Windows, tips show Windows shortcuts (Ctrl+Z, Ctrl+Enter).

0.9.3 · September 2026

  • When a new version is out, the menu bar menu shows "Update to…": one click installs it and restarts.

0.9.2 · September 2026

  • The orb opens by default; hiding it from the right-click menu lasts until you quit the app.
  • Quick prompt (⚡) above the orb: improves in Detailed mode straight into the field.

0.9.1 · September 2026

  • Email account instead of a license code, with your plan and credits in Settings → Plan.
  • Signing in on the website opens the app already signed in to your account.
  • Focus ring around the field's edge and a leaner Settings window.

0.9.0 · September 2026

  • Subscription with usage included: paste the code, no API key needed.
  • Window in three zones: status, editable result, actions with their shortcut printed.
  • Image references with up to 10 screens per prompt; nothing generates until you send it.
  • Grammar fixes in any app, not just chats.
  • Automatic updates.
