Who is selling

The service

Lapidia is an app for macOS and, in beta, for Windows that improves prompts and corrects text in the field you're writing in, using third-party language models. The download is free. Usage is measured in improvements per month, according to your plan (prices in US dollars):

• Free: 10 improvements per month, no card required.
• Pro: $10 per month, 400 improvements per month.
• Max: $20 per month, 1,200 improvements per month.
• +200 pack: $5, one-time payment, adds 200 improvements to the current cycle.

Improving a prompt counts as 1; a prompt from an image or a link counts as 3. Grammar correction doesn't count, within reasonable use of up to 2,000 corrections per month. If the service fails or the model refuses the request, nothing is deducted. Unused improvements don't carry over to the next month, except for the pack balance when you subscribe to a plan in the middle of the cycle.

Your account

• You sign in with your email, using a code sent to it. There is no password.
• The account is personal: you can use it on your own computers, but it can't be shared or resold.
• We may suspend an account in cases of sharing, reselling, automation to get around the limits, or use for illegal purposes.

Payment and renewal

Payment is processed by Stripe, by credit card. The subscription renews automatically every month, on the same date you signed up, at the plan's price, until you cancel. The improvement cycle starts on the payment date. If a plan's price changes, we'll email you at least 30 days in advance, and the new price applies only from the first renewal after the notice.

You can switch plans at any time under My account → Manage subscription. When you switch, Stripe prorates the difference for the time left in the cycle.

Cancellation

Cancel whenever you like, with no fee, under My account → Manage subscription. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for, doesn't renew, and the account goes back to Free. Cancelling after the first 7 days doesn't refund the current period.

7-day right of withdrawal

Under Brazil's Consumer Protection Code (CDC, art. 49), you can withdraw from any purchase within 7 calendar days of payment and get the full amount back, with no need to give a reason. This applies to the first subscription, to renewals and to the pack.

• On the website, instantly: under My account, use “Withdraw and get a refund”. The plan is cancelled immediately, the refund is requested from Stripe and you get a confirmation by email.
• By email: write to suporte@lapidia.com and include the email address on your account. We confirm receipt and issue the refund.

The refund goes back to the same card. How long it takes to show up on your statement depends on the issuing bank and is usually up to 10 business days. When you withdraw, the account goes back to Free and the extra improvements from a refunded pack are removed from the cycle.

What we don't guarantee

The generated text comes from a language model and may contain errors. Review it before using or sending it. The service depends on external providers and may be unavailable at times; when that happens, the app shows the error and nothing is deducted from your quota.

What the app reads, sends and keeps, and how your data is used to measure ads, is set out in the privacy policy.

Changes to these terms

When we change something significant, we'll email you at least 30 days before the change takes effect. The date of the last revision is shown at the top of this page.

Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by Brazilian law, including the Consumer Protection Code. Any disputes may be brought in the courts where you live.
